IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

THE FOLLOWING IS INFORMATION COMING FROM THE COBB COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT:

SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR CHILDCARE PURPOSES IS LIMITED TO ANOTHER STOP ON YOUR STUDENT’S ESTABLISHED NEIGHBORHOOD BUS ROUTE.  STUDENT TRANSPORTATION FROM ONE BUS TO ANOTHER BUS FOR CHILDCARE OR PERSONAL NON-EMERGENCY PURPOSES IS NOT PROVIDED.  THE BUS PASS IS FOR EMERGENGY SITUATIONS ONLY.  WHEN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION ARISES, APPROVAL BY A TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATOR WILL BE REQUIRED ON AN INDIVIDUAL CASE BASIS.

On Saturday October 8, several of our very own Bells Ferry teachers and staff walked in the March of Dimes 5K.

What a great job they did helping to fill the bucket of others!  Thanks to all who participated!

Parents and Students:

Jump Rope for Heart will be Friday, September 30th!  (October 7th is a testing day, and we want the students to do well on their test as well we be able to enjoy jumping!)

Please join us in supporting the American Heart Association - the life you save may be someone that you love! Donations can be turned in anytime through September 30th and October 7th!

See you next Friday!  Let's get HEART HEALTHY!

 Why: To prevent risk of heart disease and stroke and raise money for AHA.

Turn in donations the day of the event through October 7th.  (9/30/11 – 10/7/11)
