In Need of Play-doh
Would you like to donate some
Play-doh to our class? One of our standards* in Social Studies is to learn about landforms. We would like to use play-doh to show the different kinds of landforms. If you are willing to donate some play-doh, please send it with your child by this Friday. Thanks!
*SS1G3 c. Identify and describe landforms (mountains, deserts, valleys, plains, plateaus, and coasts).
Math Facts
Keep practicing those basic math facts every night. We learned a song to help us remember the doubles facts! Ask your child to sing it to you.
Baked Goods
We are collecting individually-wrapped baked goods for the Cobb County Sheriff’s Department to sell at the North Georgia Fair (proceeds benefiting Bells Ferry). If you are able, please send baked goods with your student (or place on the table in the front lobby of the school) on Friday, September 25th before 9:00 am.
