Tuesday:       Math – Bar Graph and Math

 Wednesday:  Subject/Predicate and Math

 Work on reading log. Read 20 minutes or more. Record in log.           

Thursday:     Finish spelling homework and Math

                        Study your math facts and spelling list! 

 Friday:          Spelling homework due                                                

 

*Remember to study math facts and spelling list and to read and record in your reading log DAILY.

Reminders:   Don’t forget to check our class blog.  Please help your child read and take 3 AR tests a week. The North Georgia State Fair is going on through 10/2.   Please come out to the Sheriff’s booth to support Bells Ferry!  All proceeds come right back to our school! The children are working towards achieving their Reading Goals for this nine weeks.  Ask your child what his or her goal is.  Please help your child achieve his or her goal!!  There is an ice cream party for those who achieve their goal at the end of the nine weeks! Friday, September  30 – Spirit Day, wear Bells Ferry clothes or colors, blue and white Hat Day - $1 donation to Relay for Life DATE CHANGE!!!  Please note - we have had to change the date of Jump Rope for Heart to next Friday 9/30.

As part or our school-wide strategic plan to improve math scores, second grade has decided to include math homework each night for every student.  This homework will reinforce concepts either taught that day, or that have been previously taught in earlier lessons.  Please ensure that your child completes this math sheet every night, in addition to his or her regular homework.  Thank you for your support.
