Tuesday:       Math – Column addition

Wednesday:  Language Arts – Contractions and Math

     Work on reading log. Read 20 minutes or more. Record in log.           

 Thursday:     Finish spelling homework and Math

                        Study your math facts and spelling list!

 Friday:          Spelling homework due

Reminders: ü  I am touched by all the donations for the class Halloween Fall Festival Basket!!  What a generous class!  Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!  The basket is going to look great!  (However, if you still have something to donate, please send it in.  :)) ü  Please help your child read and take 3 AR tests a week.  Please help your child achieve his or her reading goal, if she or he has not.  Ice cream celebration Friday! ü  In an effort to protect the sensitivity of all children, students are not allowed to distribute party invitations to classmates while at school, unless the entire class is invited.  Birthday parties cannot be held at school.  If you would like to send in an individually wrapped snack or treat to the students in your child's class, please clear this with the classroom teacher.  Please do not send in whole cakes as they are difficult for students and teachers to manage.  Cupcakes are more easily served during snack time or lunch time. Please refrain from sending plates, cups, napkins, etc.  Personal gift items (flowers, balloons, telegrams, etc.) cannot be delivered to students in class. ü  Oct.24- Oct. 29 - Conference Week      Early Release - Dismissal:  12:20 Book Fair this week also! ü  Saturday, Oct. 29 -  Fall Festival    11:00 – 3:00
