As we study the riches of the rainforest, our students will come to understand the integrated factors that make a tropical rainforest and why tropical rainforests impact their lives. They will become scientists who study plants, animals, people and other elements that make up the tropical rainforest.
By studying the rainforest and other biomes, our fourth and fifth graders will develop a sense of their place on earth and understand how the rainforest affects our world.
