THANK YOU!!

Dear Parents and Students:

I wanted to thank everyone for their hard work on Jump Rope for Heart!  Your generosity humbles me, and I appreciate all of your donations: money, time, fruit juice and healthy snacks!!  We raised almost $5,900!  WOW!!  Our donation to the American Heart Association will help save lives.  Thank you all for your time, your donations, and most important your support!

Sincerely,

Coach Burden

Welcome

Burden’s Block

Welcome back to school!  We are so excited and ready for a year of fun and fitness!  A few back to school reminders from the P.E. Department:

v     Please check with the classroom teacher about your child’s P.E. days so your child can wear appropriate shoes for safe activity!

v     Please return the blue P.E. letter to school as soon as possible so that we will be informed of any medical issues that could interfere with physical activity.  Please continue to keep the P.E. teacher informed of any medical concerns that arise.  For example, if you child has asthma or just needs to sit out of P.E. for a short term injury, please send a note to school listing the time of inactivity.

v     Stay informed by checking the P.E. website; it is linked to the Bells Ferry site and can be accessed by clicking on Coach Burden’s name on the staff page.

**Please note:  Our Jump Rope for Heart event will be this fall on Friday, October 5th.  We are hoping that this time of year will provide nice cool weather for a fabulous event!!
