I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and I am a product of Cobb County. I attended Mableton Elementary School, Floyd Middle School, and South Cobb High School. After high school, I attended Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I was hired at Bells Ferry Elementary School as a fourth grade inclusion teacher. As I was a first year teacher, I was reaccepted at Kennesaw State University to obtain my Master's Degree in Inclusive (Special) Education. I graduated in May 2008 after completing my second year of teaching. I have been teaching in a fifth grade inclusion classroom for the past 3 years and absolutely love it!
As I believe that we are all life long learners, I just applied at Kennesaw State University to further my education and to acquire an Educational Specialist Degree in the area of Early Childhood Education. If accepted, I will begin in January 2010. Fingers crossed!
My hobbies are reading, shoe shopping, COACH purses, visiting beaches, and SEC football! GO DAWGS!!
